I got a lot better at not copying the sentences on the internet.
next I would like to add more detail to my work.

I have been learning to make inferences.

I have learnt that you need to look for clues to make an inference.

I would have liked to add some more answers to my picture by looking for more clues.   

 

Number frames

Reflection

I have been learning to subtract tens and ones separately.

I feel that I got a lot better at subtracting when I used the number frames to see the numbers. 

Now I plan to do it without number frames.

Inferences

Reflection:
I enjoyed writing about the hidden message.
I can now look for clues in the text to find the author's message.
I will keep looking for clues in texts to help me get better at inferences.

Identifying fractions

Reflection
I have been learning to identify fractions by looking at the number of pieces.
I feel like it was easy for me to understand and I would like to identify more complex fractions. 
I would have liked to find the answer by taking a quick look instead of counting.

Nonsense poem

Breaking news!

Here is the news.

A box,a box,a box

That's the news.

A Box with socks and

A box with locks.

We knock the box

This box is eating coco pops.

Suddenly  it goes POP!

I’m confused

the box is used.

There is a clock

that is enoing the box.

And that box threw his coco pops

at that annoying clock.

The broom shocks the box.

The poor old box got chicken pox.

There was a fox

that attacked the box.

Then  the box

blocked the fox.

Then the rocks

tumble on the fox.

Then a rumble

of  boxes come

by the fox .

They knock the

fox in the rocks.

Reflection

I have been learning  to write a nonsense poem.
I am proud of my rhyming sentences .
I think it was tricky finding rhyming words that rhymed with box and how to put them in order.
I wish I had made more different rhyming words in my nonsense poem so, my poem will sound better.

Summarising

Reflection:
We have been learning to summarise by finding the main ideas in a text. The diagram above shows how we identified the main ideas. Something I enjoyed was writing the labels in the diagram.
Something I found tricky was keeping up with the time.
Next time I would like to work faster.

I can hear people whispering and cutting paper.  I can see a comfy couch and a 

shiny TV. I can smell the cold milk.  I can feel the bumpy carpet under my feet. I can

smell fresh air around me. I can see heaps of bags. I can see peoples computers and i see a

very shiny whiteboard. I can taste cold milk.
